Penultimate Year Assessment (PYA)
Your PYA is designed to pre-empt any issues with you completing your GIM training, and to highlight any areas you need to work on prior to your final ARCP
A lot of this will be familiar to you if you have read the ARCP section of the website, but you should also download and complete this form to help prepare for your meeting
NHSE will submit a report to your TPDs informing them that you require a GIM PYA. However, as the date for this may change depending on OOPs, LTFT status, maternity leave etc. you should email your GIM TPDs at the start of your penultimate year to notify them:
